Full Automation of a RCF Pulp Mill – Austria

In collaboration with Valmet, we modernized the DCS system of a Recycled Fiber Line, integrating the control of process lines into Valmet DNA. We delivered the complete software, custom HMI, and successfully completed FAT and SAT tests.
Results: The pulp mill’s production capacity and efficiency were significantly improved, alongside a complete upgrade of the control room software.
Conversion from ABB to Valmet – Slovakia

- Period: May 2023– September 2024
With support from Valmet, we replaced the legacy ABB control system with a modern Valmet DNA system for both the headbox and press section of the paper machine. At the client’s request, we replicated the existing ABB logic within the Valmet environment using Plant Templates, ensuring operational continuity. Additionally, we designed and implemented new HMI displays that preserved the familiar ABB layout, easing the transition for operators.
Results: Following two weeks of successful SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), the plant was fully operational on new Valmet platform.
Full Automation of an OCC line – Austria

- Period: February 2022– May 2023
In collaboration with Valmet, we delivered a full automation system for the new OCC line for a paper manufacturer in Austria. The deliverables includes automation cabinets hardware design, software implementation and commissioning support
Results: The pulp mill’s production was switched to use of recycled Old Corrugated Carton and the capacity and efficiency were significantly improved, alongside a complete upgrade of the control room software.
